Agreement on international cooperation with Universidad del Norte

Logo20cromado20grandeOn February, 2nd 2016 an Agreement on international cooperation on education, science and culture the was signed by, prof. Juan Manuel Marcos, Rector of Universidad del Norte, Asuncion, Paraguay and by prof. Viktor Ogneviuk, Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

Since Dr. Igor Protsenko, professor of UniNorte, Asunción, Paraguay gave a public lecture for the students of Humanities department during his visit to Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University on Jan, 18th, the immediate collaboration started.

Students of Spanish Language at Chair of Romance philology and comparative linguistics, translated a documentary video dedicated to the author of the novel "Gunter`s Winter" by Juan Manuel Marcos, the rector of Universidad del Norte, one of the most important private universities of Paraguay.

The second part of cooperation launched by Universidad del Norte is the competition for the best translation of "Poemas y canciones" by Juan Manuel Marcos, (to download a pdf-file, please follow this link) so that in the future to publish a bilingual edition of his poems. As further cooperation, publication of student and staff scientific articles at conferences and symposiums UniNorte, further cooperation on Paraguayan literature being translated into Ukrainian, the launch of Ukrainian Centre UniNorte based in Paraguay and other forms of scientific and cultural collaboration.

III International Scientific-Practical Conference "Open Educational E-Environment of the Modern University"

8 September, 2017, III International Scientific-Practical Conference "Open Educational E-Environment of the Modern University" took place at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. 136 educators from five countries took part in it, namely from Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia, Portugal, Spain. The participants of the Conference, traditionally, were teachers, students, professors and scientists.

The Conference was held as the part of ‘International research network for study and development of new tool and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the field of ICT instruments, e-learning and intercultural competences (IRNet)’ project.

Nataliya Morse, Vice-Rector on Informational Technologies at Borys Grichenko Kyiv University, IRNet Project Coordinator at our University, invited Eugeniya Smirnova-Trybulska, IRNet Project Coordinator at the University of Silesia (Poland), Sexto Cuba Delgado, Professor of University of Extremadura (Spain), Paulo Pinto, Professor of University of Lusíada (Portugal), Martina Drlik, Associate Professor of the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra (Slovakia) and Volodymyr Kukharenko, Associate Professor of National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (Ukraine) to take part in discussion panel ‘Open education – myth or reality? Trends in today’s education’.

The participants of the Conference listened to and discussed the presentations of 42 colleagues, who presented in the following sections.

  • E-university: technologies and tools for development.
  • Blended learning as a technology of access to quality education.
  • Formation of an open educational e-environment of a higher educational institution.
  • Formation of ICT competencies of students, teachers and professors.
  • Usage of ICT in Economics and Management.

Congratulations to the staff of the Chair of Theory and History of Pedagogy Pedagogical Institute of the Grinchenko University on winning of the Visegrad grant for the implementation of the project “High school teacher competence in school’.

Due to the joint efforts of colleagues from our University and the universities of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, we will contribute to the reform of the educational sphere. We are glad, that the scientific and international development of the Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University goes to a new level!

Working visit of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University’s participants of the international research project team IRNet at Lusiada University, Portugal on 31 July, 2017.
IRNet is International Research Network for study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the field of ICT instruments, e- Learning and intercultural competences of the 7th Framework Program of the European Commission for Science and Education.

A team of researchers was led by Natalia Morze, DSc in Pedagogy, vice-rector on Informatization activity in KUBG and Tetiana Lyakh, PhD, Associate Professor of Social Education and Social Work, deputy Director of Institute of Human Sciences.
Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University representatives examined the information educational environment in Lusiada university, considered e-learning courses to learn the approaches to assessing the quality of education, including e-Portfolio for students and ratings for teachers, visited the Lusiada University Library, the Lisbon business school of Economics and the National museum.

Working visit of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University’s participants of the international research project team IRNet took place at Extremadura University, Spain From June 28 to July 6, 2017.

Irnet is International Research Network for study and development of new tools and methods for advanced pedagogical science in the field of ICT instruments, e- Learning and intercultural competences) of the 7th Framework Program of the European Commission for Science and Education.

A team of researchers was led by Natalia Morze, DSc in Pedagogy, vice-rector on Informatization activity in KUBG and Tetiana Lyakh, PhD, Associate Professor of Social Education and Social Work, deputy Director of Institute of Human Sciences.

The objectives and program of the project included participation of the international research group of the IRNet project in a number of scientific events. Including:
Discussions on national and international concepts of international research, higher education goals and policies in Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Portugal, Australia, Ukraine and Russia;
Meeting with development tools comparative study of changing educational and social missions of universities in the field of ICT, e-learning, intercultural competence (and the internationalization of higher education) in Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Portugal, Australia, Ukraine, Russia;
Meeting with Professor Prudencia Gutiérrez Esteban, EU, having adapted the Spanish universities experience, Ukrainian team developed the questionnaire and survey "Motivation European University in research collaboration";
Discussions on research methodology of doctoral thesis in the context of e-learning (moderator Professor Sixto Cubo, EU).

    On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


    European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
