15th-28th November
A new servant leadership project began on the 15th of November in our university for the 11 students who volunteered to participate in this two-year program. The aim of it is to teach young people leadership skills and incorporate them in their future profession. The first part of the project is an intensive group-training the topics of which carry on to the 5-months mentor program with American advisors. In July this group will go to the USA to participate in the International Academy of Servant Leadership and after that they will perform their own project on servant leadership.
This year Dr. Marshall Christensen was the group coach and taught the students the principles of servant leadership developing skills of listening, trust, support, vision and team-work.
