Participation of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in the International Conference at the University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy)
On 15-16th of September, 2011 the delegation of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University participated in the international conference ‘Contemporary threats and opportunities, Academic Freedom and Institutional Autonomy within the Context of Accreditation, Quality Assurance and Rankings’ and in the ceremony of signing the Magna Charta Universitatum.
The university’s delegation consisted of Rector prof. Victor Ognevyuk, vice-rector on academic issues Ludmyla Khoruzha, vice-rector on methodical and educational issues Oleksiy Zhyltsov and vice-rector on methodical and innovation work Svitlana Kalashnikova.
During the stay at Bologna University the delegation had the appointments with Romano Prodi – formerly president of the European Commission and Italian President of the Council of Ministers and Ivano Dionigi – Rector of the University of Bologna.
The University’s representatives had a dialogue with other rectors and heads of some international organizations and discussed the possibilities of cooperation.
