On December 20, 2017, a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (PRC) visited Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. Within the framework of one-day visit, professors of the Academy delivered lectures for the students of the Institute of Philology and the Faculty of History and Philosophy:
• the lecture by He Xingliang, Ph.D., Professor, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, "Transformation processes in Chinese society: contradictions and ways to overcome them";
• the lecture by Shi Jinbo, Ph.D., Professor, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, "New achievements of China in the development and prosperity of traditional cultures";
• the lecture by Fang Ning, Director of the Institute of Political Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, "Four main political results in the development and modernization of China". 
After the lectures, the professors had a meeting with the Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University Victor Ogneviuk, Vice-rector for Research Natalia Vinnikova, Head of the Department of Oriental Languages and Translation Ivan Semenist, Head of SRL of Internationalization of Higher Education Olha Vyhovska. During the meeting the issues of further cooperation and establishment of a joint research center of China were discussed.
