Since 2001 Ihor Hrytsiak has been studying the problems of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration, regional and global governance, European and International Law, being a renowned expert and a famous specialist in the field of public administration.
Ihor Hrytsiak has about 180 publications, including scientific and scientific-methodological works, in particular, on state-legal problems of theory and history of public administration, European and International law, European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

textbooks “Law and Institutions of the European Union” (2004, 2006), “European and Euro-Atlantic integration” (2007), “Legal and Institutional System of the European Union” recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2009), “Legal and Institutional Framework of the European Union” recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2009), "European Integration: a textbook for students of higher educational institutions and master students in the field of Public Administration (2013), which laid theoretical foundations of a new scientific branch in public administration as a science and added a training-methodical base in the field of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Ihor Hrytsiak is an editor of several scientific journals in public administration and the parliamentary newspaper "Viche".
Ihor Hrytsiak is a member of two specialized Scientific Councils, in particular, at the Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration, National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, and at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
Ihor Hrytsiak has been a scientific supervisor of 2 candidates of Sciences in juridicial sciences, 12 - public administration, 2 - doctors of science in public administration.
