Special achievements

Olha Kotenko graduated from National Pedagogical Dragomanov University in 1997 and got a degree in specialty “Russian, English Languages and Foreign Literature” and received qualification of “Teacher of Russian, English Languages and Foreign Literature”. In 2005 she pursued the second higher education at the State Higher Educational Institution “University of Educational Management” of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and received qualification of “Educational Institution Leader”. In 2014 she got a diploma of corresponding member of Ukrainian Academy of Acmeology. From 2011 to 2017 she was a Chairholder of Foreign Languages and Methodology department of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.  

Professional and scientific interest

Olha Kotenko is the author of scientific publications on actual problems of future teachers’ foreign language training process. The researcher’s interests are: future teachers' professional training in conditions of European integration; comparative analysis of primary school children early foreign language teaching systems in the countries of European Union; development of future primary school teachers’ foreign language methodological competence in the system of continuing education. Olha Kotenko had an internship at Charles University (Czech Republic, 2015), a member of the Ukraine Higher Education Leadership Development Programme supported by the British Council in Ukraine, Institute of Higher education NAPS of Ukraine and Leadership Foundation (UK),(2016-2017). For now she is a member of the international Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL).
