On October 9, 2017, at Pedagogical Institute of Kyiv Borys Grinchenko University, the public lecture “The Strategy of Pedagogical Education Development in the USA” was presented by Lisa M. Blank, a professor of the University of Montana (USA), a participant of the Fulbright Exchange Program. The aim of the lecture is to introduce the educational staff and students of the Pedagogical Institute with the system of pedagogical education in the USA in the context of realizing the state policy in the field of the higher education. During the lecture, the speaker pointed out peculiarities of licensing teachers in the USA; conceptual principles of organizing the modern pre-school and primary compulsory school education, and the American education through the historical view and nowadays; introduced the pre-school and primary school teacher reparation framework in the state of Montana.
