Visiting lectures by Igor Sribnyak, the winner of the Ivan Vyhovsky Award, professor of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University

Professor Igor Sribnyak, Doctor of Historical Sciences, the head of world history department of Boris Grinchenko University of Kyiv and the Laureate of the Ivan Vyhovsky Prize finished his first out of six planned scientific and didactic visits. The first stage was held at the History and Sociology Faculty of the Bialystok University (UwB) in Republic of Poland.

During the visit, Professor Igor Sribnyak completed "Ukrainian Rastatt” monograph from the series The Captivity Encyclopedia. The monograph is to be published in April-May 2018 with the full title "Ukrainian Rastatt:" ... To raise the Ukrainians as a nation to that status in an international concert that it belongs".

With the assistance of Studium Europy Wschodniej, Professor Igor Sribnyak published three scientific articles in specialized historical journals (see links: http://elibrary.kubg.edu.ua/id/eprint/20013

Another article was published in International Historical Journal magazine, which is part of the international scientometric database Scopus and Web of Science (see: http://elibrary.kubg.edu.ua/id/eprint/20933).

As visiting professor, Dr. Igor Sribnyak developed a course entitled "The Tabernacle and Non-Tabernacle Space of Ukrainians in Europe (captives, interned, emigrants in Poland and neighboring countries 1914-1939)" and lectured to students of the Historical and Sociological Faculty of UwB.

On November 29, Professor Igor Sribnyak gave the inaugural lecture entitled "Kalish: Center for the Socio-Cultural Life of Ukrainian Warfare in Poland (1921-1939)" at the University of Bialystok.
