In accordance with the Agreement on the Establishment of the Center for China Studies between the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, on 18 October, 2019, the delegation of professors from CASS were hosted at Grinchenko University.

Scientists from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences delivered guest lectures to students and faculty members of the Institute of Philology, the Faculty of History and Philosophy, the Faculty of Law and International Relations at our University: Lou Feng, Professor of the Institute of Quantitative & Technical Economics at CASS delivered a lecture entitled “Analysis and Forecast of China’s Economy and Structure from 2019–2035”; Ou Yang Xiangying, Professor of the Institute of World Economics and Politics at CASS gave a lecture “Solve the global problems with global governance”; Sun Zhaoyang, Associate Professor of the National Institute of Social Development at CASS presented a lecture “Economic Reform and the Change of Employment Structure in China”; Zhang Yanlu, Associate Professor of the Institute of Russian, Eastern European & Central Asian Studies at CASS delivered a lecture “Belt and Road” initiative: The Chinese programme to build a community with a shared future for mankind”
After the lectures, a lively discussion took place, students and professors of our University actively asked Chinese scholars about transformation processes in China's modern society, social development and economic reforms, as well as the latest programs to build China as a prosperous state.
