Program “Youth Changes Ukraine” from Bohdan Gavrilishin’s Charity Fund

Bohdan Gavrilishin’s Charity Fund is launching a program “Youth of Ukraine”, which aims at gradual reformation of Ukraine with the help of young people.
One of the program’s stages involves exploration of the best European practices in various social spheres by way of study trips to six European countries: Austria, Germany, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden.
Issues to focus on during study trips are: political system, economic development, youth participation in state government, education, social policy, ecology, effective energy solutions.
Selecting candidates for participation in the program:
It is anticipated that the Fund should be addressed by organized groups of 4-7 members from various professions (political scientists, lawyers, economists, social workers, ecologists, journalists and etc.)
Participants’ age should range from 21 to 35.
Full command of a foreign language is expected.
Stages of the program:
• Preparatory stage:
Preliminary study of the country (2-3 months);
Making up a detailed plan of the study trip;
Meeting the ambassador of the chosen country;
Setting up and adjusting a budget.
• Active stage:
The trip (up to 7 days);
Reporting about the accomplishments of the study trip.
Reporting resultsgoing public:
1. Report + article;
2. Using other ways to transfer the gained experience (interview, roundtable discussions, conferences).
