Rectorate Building of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University

On November 21, 2013 the round table "German Experience for the Positive Changes in Ukraine" was held at our University. A month ago a group of young scientists from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University visited Germany to get acquainted with its system of education, life, traditions and culture in the framework of the program "Youth will Change Ukraine" under the patronage of Bohdan Havrylyshyn Foundation.

Olena Bekrenyova, representative of the Foundation, program coordinator, was present at the round table where she introduced program accomplishments. The University Students Scientific Community, master's students, aspirants (PhD candidates), academics of our University took part in the round table where trip results were discussed. The participants analyzed positive experience of one of the biggest economic leader in the European Union.

In addition, Olga Kuzmenko, a junior researcher of the Educational Studies Research Laboratory shared her experience of participating in the program "Open World" with the frame of which she visited Madison Area Technical College (Madison, USA). Olga described the peculiarities of the development and financial support of educational institutions in the USA. So, the round table participants had a chance to discuss and compare German, American and Ukrainian systems of education.
