In the frame of signed Agreement of Cooperation between the Institute of History of Jagellonian University and Institute of Society of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Igor Sribniak, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, Head of the Chair of World History, had an open lecture for polish students and took part in the conference in Krakow.

On April 2, 2014 Igor Sribniak had a lecture for the students of the Institute of History on the issues of "Ukrainian Political Immigration in the interwar Poland: Ways of Formation, Peculiarities of the Activity and Further Fate".

On April 3, 2014 Igor Sribniak made a report during the International Conference "Poland – Maidan – Ukraine". It was organized by the Institute of National Memory in Poland.

During his visit Igor Sribniak had official meetings with the academics of the Institute of History of Jagellonian University. They have discussed the appropriate ways for further cooperation, mobility programs for both institutions and joint master program on History. The first step on this way will be publication of Polish and Ukrainian magazine "Over the Vistula and Dnieper" in autumn 2014.
