On October the 3rd Victor Ogneviuk, Rector of our University had a meeting with Pat Killingley, Independent Educational Adviser, Director of Pat Killingley Education Ltd. and Liudmila Tatsenko, Head of the British Council Education Programs in Ukraine.

The aim of the meeting was to distinguish the strategic orientation of the Ukrainian education development and spheres where the British Council's support will be the most appropriate in the reformation of the Ukrainian education system.

During the meeting were discussed the issues of the education evaluation, academic, administrative and financial autonomy of the universities, internationalization, inter cultural communication and European integration of the Ukrainian higher educational institutions.

Viktor Ogneviuk paid attention on the new British Council projects and pointed out that they should be focused on the issues of linguistic communication and they should develop leadership skills of today's academics and students.
