PhD

 

The third cycle degree (PhD) in Ukraine differs from the European and U.S. systems. It consists of two levels:

- Aspirantura which offers a degree of a Candidat Nauk (Candidate of Sciences). Duration of study is 3(three) years. Graduates with Master's degree are eligible to apply.
- Doctorantura which offers a Degree of a Doctor Nauk (Doctor of Sciences). Duration of study is 3 (three) years. Scientists with Candidate of Sciences Degree are eligible to apply.
