Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, from November 18 to 25, 2024, academic mobility took place at the University of Palermo (Italy) for the teachers of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology - Head of the Department of Germanic Philology, Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor Rusudan Makhachashvili, Head of the Department of Romance Philology, PhD in Philology Anastasiia Kopytina and Associate Professor of the Department of Romance Philology Anna Bakhtina.
From April 29 to May 03, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching program, the lecturers of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University - Rusudan Makhachashvili, Head of the Department of Germanic Philology, Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor; Liudmyla Anisimova, Academic Secretary of the University, Associate Professor of the Department of World Literature, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor; Mariia Boiko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian Language, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, were on academic mobility to the University of Palermo (Università degli Studi di Palermo).
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic mobility program, Sofiia Yakymiuk, a student of the Faculty of Law and International Relations, is taking a semester's study at the European Humanities University.
From February 26 to March 2, 2024, Olha Vyhovska, Head of Scientific Research Laboratory of Internationalization of Higher Education at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, was invited as a guest lecturer to Mykolas Romeris University.
As part of the Agreement for international cooperation, students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University will spend the spring semester of 2023/2024 academic year at Vilnius University.
Since February 5, 2024, the students of the Faculty of Journalism at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University Anna Nekrashevska (EP “International Journalism”, 2nd year), Solomiia Sokur (EP “Journalism”, 2nd year), Kristina Prus (EP “Advertising and Public Relations”, 2nd year) and Diana Karlova (EP “Journalism”, 2nd year) have already started a semester studies and are obtaining new skills for their future profession at Brussels School of Journalism and Communication (IHECS) under the Erasmus+ КА131 academic mobility programme.
On February 01, 2024, the academic mobility of PhD students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University began for Iryna Shyrokova, a seсond- year postgraduate student at the Faculty of Journalism, and Anna Katerynych, a third-year PhD postgraduate student at the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education.
Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University students of the educational program "Language and Literature (Japanese)" - Anastasiia Kharchuk (6th year) and Kateryna Kudinova (4th year) began their semester studies under the academic mobility program at Toyo University, Japan.
Since September 4, students of the Faculty of Journalism Anna Serhienko (International Journalism), Viktoriia Lysenko (Journalism), Kateryna Lymar (Advertising and Public Relations), Yuliia Hyra (Publishing and Editing) have already started their studies and are mastering new skills for their future profession at Brussels School of Journalism and Communications (IHECS) under the Erasmus+ CA131 academic mobility program.

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University always strives for excellence! This time - by learnining the best European practices of internationalisation of university education. From 6 to 10 November this year, Tetiana Kostiuk, a senior research fellow of SRL for Internationalisation of Higher Education, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Associate Professor, gained new experience as part of the professional development program "Through Internationalisation to University Development". Representatives of the international departments of the top 10 universities in Ukraine, united by the project "Strengthening the Capacity of Pedagogical Higher Education Institutions in Ukraine", implemented with the support of the Czech Development Agency, took part in this training.

From July 10 to July 23, 2023, the academic mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+ program at the Hungarian University of Sports Science (Budapest, Hungary) took place. The mobility was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Health, Physical Education and Sports: Olena Yarmoliuk, Head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Pedagogy; Olha Musiiachenko, Deputy Dean for Scientific, Pedagogical, Social and Humanitarian Work; Olena Lakhtadyr, Associate Professor of the Department of Sports and Fitness; Nataliia Havrylova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Sports and Fitness; Nataliia Klishevych, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education; and Nataliia Kosharna, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Methods of Teaching at the Faculty of Pedagogical Education.
In the period from 29 May to 5 June, 2023, the next stage of the international project within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA 107 programme was implemented at European Humanities University (Lithuania) in accordance with the inter-university agreement on academic mobility for academic staff (Staff Mobility for Teaching Agreement). On behalf of Grinchenko University, Marharyta Netreba, PhD in Social Communications, Associate Professor of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations at the Faculty of Journalism, provided implementation of this part of the project.
As part of the Erasmus+ international academic mobility program with the University of Palermo (Italy), 4 students majoring in Italian Philology will spend the spring semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at a partner institution.
During the spring semester of 2022/2023 academic year, students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology are participating in the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovakia) in the field of study “Philology” (German Language and Literature).
The right to academic mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+: KA 107 is currently being implemented by a student Andriana Mysyshyn, majoring in Philosophy. She will spend the spring semester of 2022-2023 at the University of Western Timisoara, which will certainly contribute to her cultural enrichment, popularization of Ukraine and national higher education in Europe.
During 2022/2023 academic year, Dariia Fedun, a student of the Faculty of Musical Art and Choreography, has been studying under the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at the University of Silesia (Poland).
With the support of Erasmus + KA107 program, our students have the opportunity to study at the partner universities of the program during the semester, receiving a scholarship there. Two students of the Institute of Philology at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, in specialty “Philology (Italian Language and Literature)” Khrystyna Makar and Yevgeniia Buriak share the impressions of their own experience in regard to participating in the Erasmus + program:
From June 17 to 21, Olha Vyhovska, Head of the SRL of Internationalization of Higher Education, was taking the training program (Erasmus Staff Week) for the staff of international departments at the University of Cadiz under the Erasmus + Academic Mobility Program.
As a part of the Erasmus + KA107 Academic Mobility Program with University of Foggia, an Associate Professor of the Italian institution of higher education, Pierpaolo Magliocca, had a training program at Grinchenko University from 20 to 25 May, 2019.
From March 25 to 29, 2019, Senior Research Fellow of SRL of Internationalization of Higher Education Kostiuk Tetiana implemented the Academic Mobility Program at the University of Granada (Spain) as part of the Erasmus+ Program.
In the framework of the Erasmus + Program, from 19 to 26 March 2019, the University's staff members Nataliia Vinnikova, Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Sciences in Philology, Associate Professor; Svitlana Sysoieva, Senior Researcher, Research Laboratory of Educology, Doctor of Sciences in Pedagogy, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Georgii Lopatenko, Dean of the Faculty of Health, Physical Education and Sports, PhD in Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor; Valeria Loiko, Professor of the Department of Finance and Economics, Faculty of Information Technologies and Management, Doctor of Sciences in Economics, Associate Professor, Faculty of Management and Business, implemented the Academic Mobility Program through collaboration with the Group of Higher Education Researchers at the University of Tampere (Finland).
Over the period of October-December 2018, a junior research fellow of the SRL of Archeology at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Olha Zaitseva, completed the research training program at the Institute of Pre- and Protohistoric Archeology at Christian Albrecht University (Kiel, Germany).
Within the framework of 2018 Erasmus + CA107 project, on June 18-23, 2018 a teacher of the Department of Romance Philology and Comparative-typological Linguistics, the Institute of Philology, Olena Vitalievna Cherepashuk took part in the work of IV International Staff Week in Cadiz, Spain,. It was an unforgettable week of new discoveries, impressions, meetings with representatives from various universities from 50 countries and a wonderful team of professionals from the University of Cadiz. During the visit O.Cherepashuk was handed in a signed agreement on further cooperation between two universities, the University of Cadiz and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. Taking part in academic mobility program, O. Cherepashuk gained new experience, got acquainted with new methods of teaching Spanish, participated in an international forum, visited Campus Tecnológico in Algeciras, faculty of Marine and Natural Sciences, got to know the details of the project DIEGO.
Within the framework of the European Union program Erasmus + (K1: Academic Mobility), a teacher of the Department of English Philology and Translation, a postgraduate student of the 2nd year of training Mamatova Viera Volodymyrivna and a senior lecturer of the Department of Germanic Philology, a postgraduate student of the 2nd year of training, Titarenko Maia Valeriivna, have done a scientific internship on the basis of “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse. The internship period was during the spring semester from 26.02.2018 to 18.06.2018.
Associate Professor of German Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences , Anna Vladyslavivna Haidash, delivered a course of lectures at “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse (Bulgaria) on the subject "The Essentials of Editing" within the academic mobility program Erasmus + staff mobility for teaching on May 14-18, 2018. Anna Vladyslavivna also presented information about Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University to Bulgarian colleagues and students and took an active part in the "Fifth Erasmus Week" event ("Internationalization of Higher Education - Opportunities and Challenges").

Autumn semester at Vilnius University
Tetiana Karpus, the student of the Institute of Journalism of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, spent the first half of the academic year 2017/2018 at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, taking part in the academic mobility program.
Within the program Erasmus + with National and Kapodistrian University of Athens lecturers of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University: MykhailoVideyko, Head of Research Laboratory of Archeology and Sergiy Golovanov, Associate Professor of the Chair of World History Faculty History and Philosophy had the opportunity to participate in scientific training at partner university during the period from 24.04 to 30.04.2017 year.
Thanks to the program Erasmus+, five students of the Grinchenko University will spend the spring semester in Italy, at the University of Foggia.
Within the program of academic mobility Erasmus + with the University of Foggia (Italy) to our University came for academic exchange Italian student Alessandro Tasso.
Students of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University are participating in academic mobility program Erasmus + with the University of Cadiz (Spain). Within this program, five students of our University get the opportunity to spend spring semester the partner university free of charge, receiving a scholarship.
More than 90 representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Moldova, Latvia, Austria, Morocco and other countries attended the International Staff Week.
In nthe period from 25 March to 9 April 2017Alona Popova, Head of the Scientific Society of Students, doctoral students and young scientists of the Institute of Human Sciences of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, passed training in Oberhof (Germany).
On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.
European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.
The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:
