February 2023
University of Silesia (Poland)
During 2022/2023 academic year, Dariia Fedun, a student of the Faculty of Musical Art and Choreography, has been studying under the Erasmus+ academic mobility program at the University of Silesia (Poland).
"If someone asked me what was the best thing about getting an education for me, I would definitely answer - academic mobility. I'd been dreaming of going on an exchange program since my first year of study, when we were informed that there was such an opportunity. It seemed to me that this was a great chance to gain special knowledge, see the difference in teaching methods, and show the bandura to the world. And so, in my second year of study, I won an Erasmus+ grant and went as an exchange student to the University of Silesia. However, the experience I gained have exceeded all my expectations.
These two semesters were exciting, filled with pleasant meetings, interesting lectures and concerts. Therefore, I am extremely glad that the university provides opportunities for student mobility and hope that the number of these opportunities will increase. I am also very grateful to Kateryna Zavalko, Head of the Department of Instrumental and Performing Arts, and Olha Vyhovska, Head of the Scientific- Research Laboratory of Internationalization of Higher Education at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, for their help and support."
We wish Dariia further success in her studies and creative activity!
