Within the period of March 12-18, 2023 Nataliia Vinnikova, Vice-Rector for Research of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor, took part in the NAWA program "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities" at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (AMU) - Interdisciplinary workshop "Across Disciplines for Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation" within Epicur Alliance experienced interdisciplinary education and research project.
Vice-Rectors from 26 Ukrainian universities took part in the project. As part of the program, a meeting was held at the Poznan City Council with Director of the Department of City Development and International Cooperation, Iwona Matuszczak-Szulc and Plenipotentiary of the Poznan City Mayor for youth and academic cooperation issues Anna Wawdysz. There were discussed the prospects for further cooperation with the leadership of Adam Mickiewicz University - Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Professor, Dr hab. Rafał Witkowski, Vice-Rector for Research, Professor, Dr hab. Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk, Vice-Rector for Social Relations, Professor, Dr hab. Zbyszko Melosik, Head of Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, Professor, Dr hab Rafał Dymczyk; staff member of the International Department, Dr. Kostiantyn Mazur; and the administration of the Institute of Advanced Technologies, Faculty of History, Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Physics, and Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
During the meetings, the possibilities of academic cooperation in the context of academic exchanges, inter-institutional educational programs, joint research projects, and dual degree education were discussed. Particular attention was paid to discussing the problems of higher education in Ukraine and internationalization during the war and after the victory, opportunities for developing cooperation, and prospects for funding projects from the European Union.
