From 11 to 17 June 2023, Larysa Bondarenko, Head of the Scientific and Methodological Centre for Research, Scientific Projects and Programmes at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, took part in the international summer school "Science Communication" at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland), which brought together representatives of 26 Ukrainian higher education institutions.

The programme included a number of theoretical and practical sessions on various aspects of science popularisation, promotion of knowledge and research among the general public, including children and young people, outside the university; the specifics of organising large-scale scientific and educational events, etc.

The participants of the summer school had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern forms of knowledge promotion (science festival, night of scientists, scientific interviews and oral history, documentary programmes, TV and radio podcasts), create their own science education projects and try themselves as a TV and radio podcast host.
