Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University always strives for excellence! This time - by learnining the best European practices of internationalisation of university education. From 6 to 10 November this year, Tetiana Kostiuk, a senior research fellow of SRL for Internationalisation of Higher Education, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Associate Professor, gained new experience as part of the professional development program "Through Internationalisation to University Development". Representatives of the international departments of the top 10 universities in Ukraine, united by the project "Strengthening the Capacity of Pedagogical Higher Education Institutions in Ukraine", implemented with the support of the Czech Development Agency, took part in this training.

All days of the training program were filled with lectures by leading theorists and practitioners from Czech Republic and Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic), who spoke about the internationalisation development strategy of Masaryk University, the organisational structure and management decisions that contribute to its effectiveness at the institutional and national levels. Both practical networking sessions and theoretical lectures on current trends in reconceptualising approaches to understanding internationalization of higher education and its constituent elements were extremely valuable.

Due to the long-standing close friendship and cooperation between Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Masaryk University, Ukrainian-Czech projects are always effective and create the basis for mutual enrichment with good practices.
