Over the past two years, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University has been actively developing cooperation with one of the most famous universities in Japan, Toyo University (Tokyo, Japan).

Within the framework of this cooperation, students of the University actively participate in academic mobility programs at the partner university. In early April, four students of the educational program "Language and Literature (Japanese)" Anastasiia Makiieva (3rd year), Alla Dronova (2nd year), Kateryna Redka (3rd year) and Sofiia Galinkina (3rd year) started their semester studies at Toyo University.

On this occasion, on April 05, 2024, the students of Grinchenko University met with the President of Toyo University, Ms. Etsuko Yaguchi. As a sign of friendship between the two universities, our students presented Professor Etsuko Yaguchi with a gift copy of "Kobzar" and souvenirs from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.

The internship at one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in Japan has just begun, and our students will have the opportunity not only to study and master Japanese and English-language courses, but also to immerse themselves in the incredible culture of the Land of the Rising Sun and get to know Japan better.
