On October 08, 2024, International Scientific Online Conference “Social and Psychological Support of the INDIVIDUAL in the Context of Social Transformations” was held at the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.
The co-organizers of the conference were Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the NAES of Ukraine, Child Well-Being Fund Ukraine, Ukrainian Association for Psychological Support, Kyiv City Crisis Center "Sociotherapy", Center of Practical Psychology “Anchor”, University of Warsaw (Republic of Poland), Stefan Batory Academy of Applied Sciences (Republic of Poland).
The plenary session of the conference was opened with welcoming remarks by Nataliia Vinnikova, Head of the Academic Council at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Science in Philology, Professor, and Nataliia Klishevych, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, PhD in Education, Associate Professor. The conference was moderated by Olesia Stoliarchuk, Professor of the Department of Personality Psychology and Social Practices, Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Doctor of Science in Psychology, Professor.
The plenary session featured presentations by: Tereza Yanytska-Panek, Professor at Stefan Batory Academy of Applied Sciences, Doctor of Humanities, Professor (Republic of Poland)$ Olga Jauer-Niworowska, Professor at the University of Warsaw, Doctor Habilitatus, Professor (Republic of Poland); Valeriia Palii, Vice President of the National Psychological Association, Academic Director of Psychology Programs at Kyiv School of Economics, PhD in Psychology (Ukraine); Halyna Bevz, Head of the Department of Communication Psychology at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Science in Psychology, Professor (Ukraine); Nataliia Saveliuk, Professor at the Department of Practical Psychology, Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Science in Psychology, Professor (Ukraine); Nataliia Dovhan, Head of the Department of Psychology of Political and Legal Relations at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Science in Psychology (Ukraine); Liudmyla Piankivska, Senior Researcher at the Psychological Support Research Laboratory of the State Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, PhD in Psychology (Ukraine); Svitlana Kalishchuk, Professor of the Department of Personality Psychology and Social Practices, Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, Doctor of Science in Psychology, Professor (Ukraine).
After the plenary session, the conference participants took part in three sectoral discussions:
1) Socio-Psychological Modeling of Personal Assistance;
2) Practices of Resilience and Personal Well-Being;
3) Psychological Culture and Education in War and Post-War Periods.
Overall, more than 150 participants from Ukraine and abroad took part in the conference.
