Academic mobility to University of Ostrava within Erasmus+ program

From November 18 to 22, 2024, Nataliia Klishevych, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education, Tetiana Liakh, Head of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work and Tetiana Spirina, Associate Professor of this department, are participating in the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Program at the University of Ostrava (Ostrava, Czech Republic).

The main goals of mobility at the partner university are:

  • meetings with the staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ostrava to discuss professional competencies and standards, modifications of educational programs, teaching methods, research opportunities and strategies to promote professional training of applicants in the field of Social Work;
  • discussion of the prospects for comparative research within the scientific topic of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work “Socialization of Vulnerable Groups in the Context of Territorial Communities Development in Ukraine” and their coverage in the journal “Sociální práce/Sociálna práce/Czech and Slovak Social work” with further indexing in the Scopus scientometric database;
  • lecturing on “Volunteering in Ukraine during armed conflicts”, “Use of board games in the preventive work of a social worker with children and youth”, “Social prevention of family dysfunctions in the territorial community”, “Moral and ethical principles of social work in the territorial community”; “Interagency and interdisciplinary interaction in social work”, “Training of social workers in Ukraine”;
  • attendance of lectures and practical classes of teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic).

On November 18, 2024, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ostrava - Deputy Dean for International Affairs Marie Špiláčková and representative of the International Department Mgr. Michaela Vontorova, during which colleagues had the opportunity not only to discuss the academic mobility program and get acquainted with the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process at the Faculty, but also to present educational-professional and educational-scientific programs in the specialty “Social Work”, which are implemented at Grinchenko University and the University of Ostrava.
