On February 26, 2025, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, Mr. Masashi Nakagome, representatives of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University took part in an official reception on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan Naruhito.

The official reception was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis, along with other high-ranking government officials and members of parliament, diplomats from various countries, representatives of Japanese companies and other guests.

Grinchenko University was represented at the event by Acting Rector Oleksandr Turuntsev, Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations Mykola Kulinich, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Languages Ivan Semenist.

On the occasion of the National Day of Japan, representatives of Grinchenko University congratulated the diplomatic corps of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine and personally His Excellency Mr. Masashi Nakagome, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, on this holiday and discussed topical issues of cooperation between the University and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.
