On 09 May 2025, Nataliia Vinnikova, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University and Iryna Mankovska, Deputy Head of Scientific-Research Laboratory for Internationalisation of Higher Education, took part in a meeting dedicated to participation in the NEOLAiA Alliance of European Universities.

NEOLAiA members are the University of Örebro (Sweden), University of Ostrava (Czech Republic), University of Salerno (Italy), University of Jaén (Spain), University of Bielefeld (Germany), University of Siauliai (Lithuania), University of Nicosia (Cyprus), University of Tours (France), University of Suceava (Romania). Grinchenko University is an associate partner of the NEOLAiA alliance, due to its long-term cooperation with Ostrava University (Czech Republic).

The meeting was attended by Åke Strid, Vice-Rector of Örebro University (Sweden), Renáta Tomášková, Vice-Rector of Ostrava University (Czech Republic), José Ignacio Jiménez González, Vice-Rector of Jaén University (Spain), Ida Andersson-Norrie, Head of the International Office of Örebro University (Sweden), Beatriz Valverde, Deputy Vice-Rector of Jaén University (Spain).

Nataliia Vinnikova presented the areas of activity of Grinchenko University, the topics for research and projects, etc. The next meeting to further discuss specific steps of cooperation is scheduled for June.
