Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching at Nord University

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching program, on May 06, 2025, academic mobility to Nord University (Norway) began for lecturers of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University - Professor of the Department of Special and Inclusive Education at the Faculty of Psychology, Social Work and Special Education, Doctor of Science in Psychology Tetiana Skrypnyk and Associate Professor of the Department of Speech Therapy, PhD in Pedagogy Nataliia Babych.

The main focus of the academic mobility is the exchange of experience in research and practice in the fields of speech therapy and special education.

The mobility program includes participation in the work of a research group at the Nord University led by Professor Nataliia Hanssen, titled “Speech and Language Pathology: Language, Speech and Communication Difficulties”. It also involves studying the Norwegian education system at both preschool and school levels, with particular attention to individuals with special educational needs, including visits to institutions such as a childcare center “Studentongan barnehage”, Alberthaugen skole and Bodin videregående skole.

The lecturers from Grinchenko University presented to the Nord University colleagues the specific features of training specialists at their home institution in the field of special education, based on effective approaches and their own successful practices.

This academic mobility aims to establish new professional connections, exchange experiences in training specialists in special education, and identify future areas of collaboration, including organizing and conducting joint research, publishing in international journals and participating in new projects.
