On 26 September 2025, European Day of Languages, students and lecturers from Grinchenko University met with Oksana Shvaika, project coordinator at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The DAAD Information Centre in Kyiv organises and conducts competitions for DAAD scholarships, cooperates with German and Ukrainian universities within the framework of inter-university partnerships, with the German Embassy and other representative offices of German organisations in the field of education, and with DAAD lecturers working in Ukraine.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about academic mobility opportunities and cooperation programmes with German universities. The coordinator presented a wide range of short-term and long-term academic exchange programmes for students, further academic development programmes for teachers, and DAAD scholarships for summer courses in German. Participants learned about the specifics of searching for scholarship programmes, document processing procedures, and conditions for taking tests to check their level of German proficiency.
