The Erasmus+ academic mobility programme continues to open up broad prospects for students at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University in the areas of education, intercultural interaction and professional development.
From 18 September 2025 to 6 February 2026, Viktoriia Rosynska, a first-year (bachelor's) student at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, spent a semester studying at one of Spain's leading higher education institutions, the University of Cadiz (Universidad de Cádiz).
While studying at a Spanish higher education institution, Victoriia successfully integrated into the European educational space, mastering a range of academic disciplines aimed at deepening her professional knowledge of Spanish philology, linguistics and country studies, and the specifics of intercultural interaction. The educational process at the University of Cadiz was provided by highly qualified teaching staff using innovative methods, which contributed not only to the assimilation of theoretical material, but also to the development of practical communication skills in an academic environment. Participation in the academic mobility programme allowed the applicant to: improve her command of Spanish through full immersion in the linguistic and cultural environment of the country; master the latest approaches to studying Spanish culture and literary heritage; gain experience in intercultural interaction in a multicultural educational format, which is critically important for the professional training of a philologist; expand her network of professional contacts with representatives of the European academic community.
According to Viktoriia Rosynska, her experience studying at the University of Cadiz was an extremely important stage in her professional career, combining academic challenges with inspiring practical experience in international communication. The knowledge she gained and her immersion in Spain's cultural heritage will serve as a solid foundation for her future academic and professional achievements.
The results of the semester confirmed the importance of academic mobility experience for students, which will contribute to their further professional development within their chosen speciality.
