On February 27, 2013 the Students’ Scientific Society and the Studets’ Parliament had a meeting with Sergiy Kovalchuk, a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the University of Toronto (Canada).
The meeting was focused on the peculiarities of functioning of Student Government in the USA and Canada. Sergiy Kovalchuk outlined basic principles of functioning of student organizations in Canada.
A Skype-conference was set up with Regina Royan, a former President of the Student Government of the Eastern Michigan University and Vitaliy Shpak, M.A. student of the University of Maryland. Students of Boris Grinchenko Kyiv University not only received information about the peculiarities of functioning of student organizations in the USA, but as well had a chance to communicate with and put curious questions to their colleague overseas
