On April 23, 2013 Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University hosted a round table “The System of Training and Professional Development of Teachers in Ukraine” attended by the delegation of teachers from Oslo (The Kingdom of Norway). Participants from our University were the members of teaching staff of the Institute of Humanities, Institute for Society, Pedagogical Institute, Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education and the Scientific Research Laboratory for international projects. 
The aim of the event was to discuss the systems of education in Ukraine and Norway, training and professional development of teachers in Ukraine, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University taken as a basis. Our guests observed a similar perspective of Ukraine and Norway on the image of a teacher in the conditions of the modern world.
Prior to the event, our guests were walked through the University building on 13b Tymoshenka Street by the students of the Institute of Humanities. The Norwegian educationists were impressed by the modern equipment of rooms and centers of our University and the friendliness of the staff
