In the framework of the project which is being implemented jointly by our University and the Alliance of the Program of the Promotion of the External Testing in Ukraine (USETI Alliance) Christina Pendzola-Vitovych, USETI Alliance international consultant (USA), presented two lectures for the University academic staff.
Ms. Pendzola-Vitovych introduced American experience of the use of the assessment in secondary schools and during the admissions process to the higher education institutions in the USA. Special interest raised the mechanism of tests development, testing procedure, announcement of the results and the access to the database of tests used in previous years.
Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University has been USETI Alliance partner since September 2011. The activities planned within the frame of the project aimed at strengthening the testing system in Ukraine as the main instrument for applicants' assessment and for keeping high quality of education. Such cooperation is supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
The lectures on the education measurement are going to be held during the next three years at our University in the framework of the project realization between our University and the USETI Alliance.
