European University Association (EUA)

On January, 25, 2013, in Istanbul, EUA Council approved the application of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University for individual associate membership.
EUA President, Professor Maria Helena Nazare welcomed our University as a member of the European University Association. In her letter to our Rector she encouraged our institution to participate in the EUA activities and projects. Our university is able to benefit from various membership in the Association, such as conferences, training seminars, assessments and networking opportunities.
As a EUA member, we will be informed regularly of EUA activities and services, which are presented in detail on the website, www.eua.be, where we can find the information about developments, trends and political issues linked to European higher education and research.

 


 

 

 

 

International Association of Universities (IAU)

In November, 2012 Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University became a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU).
Eva Egron-Polak, Secretary-General, welcomed our University as a new Member of the Association and expressed their keen interest to work collaboratively with our institution, “...we know that each time a university agrees to join a new association and pay its membership fees, it is making a choice among other priorities. We appreciate your support and commitment to IAU and hope that in joining the Association you will take an active part in its activities and help determine its actions and policies by participating as much as possible”.

As a Member of IAU Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University will also have a chance to participate in the LEADHER Program, which supports a truly collaborative learning approach to the professional development of institutional leadership capacities in the area of research management.
Another service that IAU offers its Members is the online access to HERBIB, a database on higher education systems, administration, planning, policy and evaluation.
Finally, IAU launched the Internationalization Strategies Advisory Service (ISAS), which is available at a discount fee to IAU Members.
