On April, 15, 2014 the World Bank Group in Ukraine had a lecture presentation for our University academics and students.

Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University has long and strong partnership relations with the World Bank Group. During the lecture academics and students had an opportunity to ask questions about the results of a new research "Problems and Perspectives of the Ukrainian Private Sector Development (Doing Business in Ukraine)". This research was made jointly with the International Financial Corporation (IFC).

The results of the research were presented by Yevhen Osmokesku, Head of the IFC project "Investment Climate in the Agriculture Business".

The authors of the research distinguished three main obstacles on the way of SMEs development: weak regulatory environment, limited access to the finance and low level of the competition.
