On October 13-14, 2014 Natalia Morze, Vice-Rector on Informational Technologies and Olga Veselovska, Head of the International Department participated in the 6th Annual International Scientific Conference "Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Distance Learning" (DLCC-2014).
The conference was organized by the Faculty of Ethnology and Educational Science, University of Silesia (Cieszyn, Poland). Co-organizers: University of Ostrava (UO), Czech Republic; Silesian University in Opava (SU), Czech Republic; Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (UKF) Slovakia,University of Extremadura (UEx), Spain; University of Twente (UT), Netherlands; The Lisbon Lusíada University (LU), Portugal; Curtin University in Perth (CU), Australia; Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University (BGKU), Ukraine; Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, St. Petersburg (HSPU), Russia; Dniprodzerzhinsk State Technical University (DSTU), Ukraine.
On the plenary session Natalia Morze made two reports on "Informal Learning as an Integral Part of E-Learning Environment of the Modern Education" and "Scientific Component of Masters ICT Competence in Modern University". Olga Veselovska has presented the report on "Analysis of Information Society Development in Ukraine".
The geography of the participants was very variable. With the help of Adope Connect program all the participants had an opportunity to have discussions in a real time with their colleagues from Australia, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
