On October 16-17, 2014 our University became the organizer of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Professional Arts' Education and Culture: Challenges of the 21st Century".
The Conference brought together scientists from Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania in order to both share the experience in the issues of challenges in the sphere of arts education and youth arts culture and to provide future joint initiatives and collaboration. It is a great honor for us that our partners from the University of Silesia in Katowice, Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and Fryderyk Chopin Institute participated in this year Conference.
The first Conference day was dedicated to the issues of the arts education and culture in Ukraine in their integration into the European education, problems and perspectives of the arts' innovational development. Liudmila Khoruzha, Vice-Rector on Research of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Kostiantyn Batsak, Director of the Institute of Arts, greeted all the participants from Ukraine and abroad.
The second day intended to present the scientific work of our academics and took place in the Institute of Arts. All the participants had an opportunity to visit Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University Master's Arts Gallery and Art Workshops.
