On October 31, 2014 Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University organized an International Scientific Conference "Physical Education and Sport in the Modern Society: Experience, Problems and Solutions" for the scientists and school teachers.

Liudmila Khoruzha, Vice-Rector on Research, opened the Conference and greeted all the participants with such an important from the scientific point of view event.

Main issues of the Conference:

- Modern Approaches in the Professional Training of the Future PE Teachers.
- Physical Rehabilitation as a Biomedical Discipline.
- Peculiarities of the Express Methods in the Swimming Training.
- Impact of Perinatal Central Nervous System Lesions on Physical Development of Children.
- Heritage of Oleksandr Anokhin, Doctor and Enlightener.
- Problems and Perspectives of PE and Sport Development in Ukraine and in the World.

Workshops:

- Development of the Individual, Artistic and Physical Qualities in Children During the Lessons on Tourism.
- Recreation Gymnastics.
- Recreation Games for Children in Specialized Medical Groups.
- Recreation Fitness.

At the end of the Conference the participants proposed the new possible ways of modernization in the sphere of physical education and sport on the basis of up to date requirements.
