Horizon 2020 is the new EU funding programme for research and innovation running from 2014 to 2020 with a €80 billion budget. The programme has opened new call for proposals in Excellent Science, Industrial Leadership, Societal Challenges, Spreading excellence and widening participation, Science with and for Society and Euratom. Olga Veselovska, the Head of the International Department, has attended the training for multiplicators "Train the Trainers" on writing proposals for this year programme contest.

Daniela Chiran, Project Manager of "Steinbeis – Europa - Zentrum" (Stuttgart, Germany) coordinated the training and analyzed this year Call and its concepts. Before preparing your proposal and applying for EU research funding we need to learn how to find a suitable Call for proposals or project partners and how to submit our proposal. Financial viability, SME participation, reference documents and project realization are the next important steps for successful submission of the project proposal to the Commission.
