In the frame of communicational company "Riga 2014. Cultural Capital of Europe" and under the patronage of the Latvian Embassy in Ukraine, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University has opened an Exhibition "Narratives in Graphic. International Brands, Events and Artists in Graphics and Photos from the National Library of Latvia".

National Library of Latvia is a modern, open educational, research and cultural center for an international community. Its digital arts fund is free for exploration in the halls of the Library itself that is located in Riga. Thousands of the images are available on the resources of the National Library of Latvia, Europeana and The European Library.

The NLL is a centre of theoretical research and practical analyses of the activities of Latvian libraries. The Library carries out the functions of the centre of Latvia Interlibrary Loan, ensures the library and information service to the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia, implements the standardization of the branch. Since the very outset its main concern has been the national bibliography.

This Exhibition shows the diversity of the National Library of Latvia collection that presents the most valuable knowledge about Latvia, its historical events and personalities.
