Viktor Ogneviuk, Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University participated in the Conference for German, Polish and Ukrainian Rectors and had a report on "Modern Development of Higher Education in Ukraine".

The Conference gathered together the representatives from the Ukrainian Community of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine (URHEIU), German Rectors Conference (HRK) and Ukrainian Community of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine (URHEIU) and German Rectors Conference (HRK).

In the frame of the Conference was signed the Agreement of Cooperation between Ukrainian Community of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine (URHEIU) and German Rectors Conference (HRK). Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv pointed out that the Agreement of Cooperation between HEIs ofGerman and Ukraine was also signed in 1998.

One of the main aspects of the Conference was the development of cooperation among the Universities of German, Poland and Ukraine.
