On December 16-19, 2014 Viktor Ogneviuk, Rector of our University had a working visit to Prague. This visit was dedicated to the issues of the reformation in the Ukrainian educational system. The event was organized by the Association for International Affairs (Czech Republic) in the frame of the transformational cooperation program "Czechs' Support in the Transformation of the Ukrainian Educational System".
The program of the visit was oriented on the practical issues of reformation in the secondary and professional education. Miluše Horská, the Senate Vice-President, told about the strategy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in the context of the new challenges in the European educational system.
Mgr. Jaroslav Fidrmuc, Deputy Minister of General, Vocational and Further Education section, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports presented the main points of the teacher's career development, National qualification framework, levels of education and its financing.
Ukrainian delegation had working meetings with the Head of the Committee on European Affairs and representatives of the Committee on Education Affairs. The core theme of the meetings was the cooperation between the Czech Republic and Ukraine in the sphere of education.
Michaela Šojdrová, Member of the European Parliament (CZ) discussed the strategic ways of cooperation. One of the point was the Erasmus + program and Ukraine.
