On April 6, 2015 was signed an Agreement for Cooperation between Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Gediz University. The Universities shall cooperate with each other within the framework of this Agreement taking into account the interests of each party.

Gediz University was established by Sipahi Education, Health and Sports Foundation on August 19, 2008. Gediz University is the 7th university that was founded in the modern and civilized university city of İzmir. Gediz University is one of the prominent Universities in the sphere of research in Turkey. It proposes the wide range of opportunities for an internship and studying abroad for international students. It encourages students to go beyond academic and geographic limits in their desire for getting knowledge.

Gediz University trains specialists in Law, Economics, Logistics Management, International Relations, Political Science and Public Administration, Engineering and Architecture, Arts and Sciences and Health Sciences.
In the frame of signed Agreement both Parties plans to have joint webinars, to develop academic mobility and joint scientific projects for taking part in the grants under the patronage of the EU.
