New academic year Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University started with signing the agreement on international cooperation with National and Kapodistrian University of Athens!

 

 

University of Athens, which is the oldest among modern universities in Greece, was founded on 3 May, 1837. Before university received its present name in honor of the first president of Greece Ioannis Kapodystriyi, he was known as the Otto University - by the name of the first King Otto of Bavaria. Athens University currently has five institutes and three faculties, has more than fifty thousand students and is among the five of most prestigious universities of the country.

In the framework of the signed Agreement planned interdepartmental joint research projects, webinars, academic mobility, the development of joint research projects, and participation in grant programs of the European Union and experience exchange in the relevant areas.

The initiator of cooperation with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens was Golovanov S.O., PhD, Docent of World history department
