Visit of professor of Heidelberg University
DAAD project "Support of Democracy in Ukraine"

Carl Holtz, a professor of Heidelberg University, and Ruth Holtz visited the University within the framework of DAAD project "Support of Democracy in Ukraine". During his visit professor Holtz had a chance to visit and get acquainted with the programs on inclusive education in the Institute of Psychology and Social Pedagogics, Institute of Post-graduate Pedagogical Education, as well as deliver lectures for in-service training students and students of Humanitarian Institute.

Prof. K. Holtz met with the University Rector, prof. Victor Ognevyuk to discuss future cooperation between Heidelberg University and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

A lecture for in-service training students was delivered on 21st of March and was devoted to in-service training in Germany and adult education for teachers. Heads of schools were introduced to progressive German experience on in-service training and education for adults and teachers.

Prof. K. Holtz also met with 4th-year students of Humanitarian institute on 22nd of March and told them about German experience in adult education. The students had a chance to listen to the lecture in German and ask questions on different aspects of higher education in Germany.
