VI Congress of Hispanists of Ukraine was held this year from 25 to 26 September in Mykolaiv at Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University. His Excellency Ambassador of Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine Gerardo Ángel Bugallo Ottone, Advisor of the Embassy of Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine Tamara Zabala Utrillas, Rector of Petro Mohyla Black Sea University Leonid Klymenko, Head of the international department of the University of Cádiz Juan Carlos Garcia Galindo, and the Coordinator of Spanish-Russian Aula of the university of Cádiz Andrés Santana Arribas gave speeches at the official opening of the Congress.

After this part the representatives of the University of Cádiz presented the opportunities of studying at their University thanks to the grant programs of Erasmus+. Afterwards the guests and the participants of the Congress discussed at the round table the ways of development for hispanism in Ukraine. In the second half of the day the work in sections (literature and history, linguistics and translation, methodology and didactics) began. In the section “literature and history” Yuliya Korgunyk, a leading specialist of the international department of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, presented her report. The Congress was also visited by Olga Klymenko, a teacher of our University.
