European Day of Languages is a real feast of honoring different language cultures, civilizations, history and intercultural communication. By celebration cultural events devoted to the European Day of Languages at the Chair of Roman Philology and Comparative Typological Linguistics Institute of Philology joined professor Pierpaolo Magliocca from the University of Foggia (Italy), which is in our University within the framework of academic mobility Erasmus +.

Participants of the events welcomed representative of the Department of Culture of the Embassy of Spain and lecturer of the Chair of Roman Philology Juan Jose Sanchez Diaz with presentation of Spanish Student Theatre Institute of Philology. Signor Sanchez Diaz stressed the importance of search, play and reflection of linguistic identity of a person and the whole culture in the study of modern languages.

In celebration of the European Day of Language were the students of the 4th course in specialty “Spanish philology” finalists of the literary translation competitions H.M Marcos' lyrics “Paraguayan reading” and presented a dramatic and touching translated poetry.

The true spirit of French culture, demonstrated students of the 1st and 2nd year specialty “French philology” led by Lyudmila Ananiev, Miroslava Vasilenko and Irina Lyagina, lecturer at the Chair of  Roman Philology and Comparative Linguistics Typological Institute of Philology.

Masters in specialty “Italian Philology” reported on the results of academic mobility in the framework of Erasmus +, at the University of Foggia and shared experiences of language training certificate program at the University named after Dante Alighieri in Reggio di Calabria (Italy).
