Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University

On February 9-11, 2018, National Youth Council of Ukraine in partnership with the British Council in Ukraine held a training "Active Citizens in Kyiv" with the support of the Scientific Society of students and young scientists at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

The event's facilitators:

Liudmyla Petrukhan-Shcherbakova, the head of the Scientific Society of Students and Young Scientists at the Pedagogical Institute of the Grinchenko University, a facilitator at the Civic Union "National Youth Council of Ukraine" under the program "Active Citizens" of the British Council in Ukraine, a member of the Council of Elders of the Civic Organization "DemAlliance Youth", an expert at the "YES" Training Center;

Artem Mosiichuk, a chairman of the Union of Initiative Youth "SIM", a facilitator and trainer at the Civic Union "National Youth Council of Ukraine under the program "Active Citizens" of the British Council in Ukraine

Igor Shcherbakov, a member of "DemAlliance Youth" NGO, a coach of the International educational center "Inten".

During the training, the participants formed self-identification and self-analysis skills, gained practical experience in creating projects, deepened their understanding of the reasons for the diversity of cultures, gained experience in negotiating, establishing communication and resolving conflict situations.

As a result of the training, all the participants were issued certificates, and those who created the best projects were recommended to apply for a grant from the British Council in Ukraine.
