On September 17, 2018, within the framework of the official visit of the delegation of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, headed by Vice-President of the Academy Li Peilin, the International Scientific Conference "Transformation Processes in Modern Society: Ukraine-China Context" was held at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

The conference was attended by leading scientists from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Viktor Ogneviuk, Rector of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Roman Hreba, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and Li Peilin, Vice-President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences,.
