About the project: According to the Global Conflict Tracker, there are currently about 30 conflicts between states, nationalities and political groups in the world, including 6 critical wars/conflicts with the highest degree of escalation. Every day, wars claim thousands of human lives around the world.
There is a direct link between human development, peace and security. Today, Europe remains one of the safest and most peaceful regions thanks to good conflict management and effective education policies. However, military conflicts are increasingly approaching the borders of the EU.
This project aims to reveal the diversity of peacemaking phenomena in the progressive experience of the EU and is aimed at popularizing the value of peace through training and development of nonviolent communication skills. The project also includes therapeutic purposes, and intends to help people move from a war-oriented state of consciousness to a peace-oriented state. The project is fully in line with the Global Strategy of the European Union, which covers the EU and its neighbors and prioritizes education and communication as means of preventing conflicts and developing sustainable peace.
Project implementation period: 01.09.2022 – 31.08.2025.
