Development of Embedded System Courses with implementation of Innovative Virtual approaches for integration of Research, Education and Production in Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia (DESIRE)

The project is being implemented within the frame of TEMPUS Program supported by the European Commission.

Project wider objectives:
• to change the theoretical type of learning in Ukraine, Georgia and Armenia to practice-oriented competence-based approach, according to the Bologna agreements;
• to speed up integration between HEIs and business in target countries;
• to establish cooperation between EU and target countries in education and research.
Project Specific Objectives:
• to create practice-oriented curricular and modules in Embedded Systems;
• to create remote laboratories in Embedded System in UA, GE, AM;
• to form the competences necessary for the Labor Market in Embedded Systems.
The Project Consortium consists of European, Ukrainian, Georgian and Armenian Universities:

 Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University (CEPU), Ukraine;
 Donbass State Engineering Academy (DSEA), Ukraine.
 Georgian Technical University (GTU), Georgia;
 Ivane JavakhishviliTbilisi State University (TSU), Georgia;
 State Engineering University of Armenia (Polytechnic) (SEUA), Armenia;
 Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction (YSUAC), Armenia;
 Yerevan Telecommunication Research Institute CJSC (YeTRI), Armenia.
Project duration is three years (Dec., 2013- Dec., 2016).
