 On November 5, 2018, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, being supported by Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, hosted a meeting of Grinchenko University’s students and professors (Institute of Human Sciences, University College, Pedagogical Institute, Institute of Arts) with Vilma E. Fuentes, PhD, Assistant VP for Academic Affairs, College of Santa Fe (USA) and Dug Jones, Associate Vice President, Economic Development, College of Santa-Fe (USA).

The participants were greeted by Vira Ternovska, a representative of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, and Nataliia Vinnikova, Vice-Rector for Research at Grinchenko University.
During the meeting, Vilma E. Fuentes and Dug Jones delivered a guest lecture that gave coverage to the history of reforming education system in the United States in the context of introducing inclusion and equal access to education. The participants discussed topical issues for Ukraine, related to implementation of inclusive education.

Polonijna Academia in Czestochowa (Poland)

Within the framework of the Agreement on International Cooperation with Polonijna Academia in Czestochowa, two students of the 4th year, the specialty "Finance and Credit" (Faculty of Information Technologies and Management), Olena Koniukhova-Dobrynia and Mariia Khyzhniak are doing the autumn semester of training in the IHE-partner.
Under the academic mobility program, our students took part in the ceremony of the beginning of 2018/2019 academic year. The ceremony was visited by the delegation from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and included Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs O. Zhyltsov and Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies and Management A. Mikhatska

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

The benefits for our University as a member of the Association are as follows:

- We get access to Association services and benefit from their work.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.

- We join a network of more than 120 associations from across Europe and more than 120 associations from across Europe.

- We can join EAEA events and share information and experiences in the educational issues.
