From 6 to 26 August, 2018, the students of the Department of Oriental Languages and Translation of the Institute of Philology D. Dereviazhenko (4th year student), O. Moisa (2nd year student), A. Borysiuk (4th year student) took part in the Summer School at Osaka University of Economics and Law (Osaka, Japan).

During the Summer School in Japan the students of our university not only improved their Japanese language skills, but also participated in the presentation of Ukraine to Japanese students, calligraphy workshops, origami and other traditional arts in Japan.

Academic Internship at Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica within the framework of the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic.

Director of the Library at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Ph.D. in Social Communications, Tetiana Sergiivna Opryshko has completed a month-long internship at the library of Matej Bel University within the framework of the National Scholarship Program of the Slovak Republic on support of students, postgraduate students, university professors and research staff mobility (SAIA Programs).
During the internship a number of meetings were held with the staff of all departments of the library. In the course of these meetings various issues of sharing best practices and the ways of cooperation were specified. In particular, an agreement on posting scientific journals "Education", "The Modern Higher Education Review" and "Open Educational E-Environment" on the website of Matej Bel University was reached.
The program also included visits to the leading Slovak libraries, namely to the State Library of Science in Banska Bystrica, the Slovak National Library in Martin, the Center for Scientific and Technical Information in Bratislava, the Matej Hrebenda Slovak Library for the Blind in Levoča and several university libraries.
As a result of the internship, a plan of measures to implement the Development Strategy of the Library at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University was drawn up.

On the 14th – 17th 2011 in Malmo, Sweden, the General Assembly of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) approved the application form of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University as an Associate Member of EAEA.


European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is the European non-profit organization and a European NGO with 116 member organizations in 43 countries. EAEA influences EU policies on non-formal adult education and lifelong learning; represents adult education civil society in official working groups and conferences.

- We can add our voice to the debate on adult education and actively support the advocacy work for adult education in Europe.
